About Zarchin Performance

I started sharing workouts on social media in 2020 during the pandemic as a way to motivate and connect with friends and family. Since then I've been able to reach a wider range of athletes and individuals and help them achieve their sports performance and fitness goals, as well as providing educational tips on how training and nutrition impacts performance.

My Story

I am a sports performance coach, former Division 1 NCAA swimmer, and health+wellness enthusiast. Growing up as a female athlete, I struggled with my confidence and body image, which ultimately hurt my performance in competition. I tried to avoid lifting when my team had weight training sessions, adopted a cycle of disordered eating, and unknowingly further hindered my performance. Only after a health crisis in 2019 did I appreciate how strong and resilient our bodies are. I fell in love with learning about nutrition and exercise science, and decided to make it a career. My ultimate goal is to help uplift, train, and educate athletes and others who struggle with these constantly prevalent issues, so they can confidently reach their athletic potential. 

 

The research and science behind human performance is ever-evolving, and I am committed to searching for and implementing these findings in order to keep improving as a trainer and to provide you with the safest, most advantageous programs. Fitness is NOT one-size-fits-all, and I want to reflect that in the way I train others.
